Inspired by a photo I saw on facebook by the artists Amorexperimental Versão-Beta I thought i would have a play around with the idea as it reminded me of the eye masks used by colleague Flávio Rabelo in his solo performance works. His eye masks have also been incorporated into our project Labirinto Urbano and used throughout the process and in performances of our previous project Hotel Medea. This version using the mobile phone seems to be completely fitting for us given our ongoing research in identity and the use of low cost technology.
